At last I have some better weather news to bring – for today at least!
As you look out of the window you will see that the sky is a lot clearer than the recent past and it will stay this way for the majority of the day.
The satellite images show that across our region and right out to Wales and into the Irish sea there is very little cloud and this means that we should have a bright and clear day.
We can expect between 6-8 hours of sunshine.
Our top temperature will be around 19c and overnight the low will be around 9-10c.
The wind will blow from the SSW – W and the average speed will be around 6mph. You will feel an increase in the wind speed as the day passes.
As with any W to E weather pattern the risk of rain increases around late afternoon but the indications are that we will remain with a dry day throughout.
Looking ahead all of the signs are that more wide spread rain will return to our area by mid week so make the most of today.
