WS7 weather report for Hammerwich, Lichfield, Burntwood, Brownhills, Bloxwich and Pelsall areas.

Weather forecast 25 July 2012.

Another bright start to the day after a warm night when our overnight “low” was 16.4c at 06:01 hours.

As the day passes we will see more cloud than we have for the last two days.  This will, however, not prevent plenty of bright spells and some high temperatures.  Our high today will be around 24-25c and overnight the low will reach around 14c.

With the increased cloud it will feel a little more humid than of late and this will be particularly noticeable in the late afternoon and evening time.

As I have said over the last two days the jet stream is moving position and today is the start of the real changes.  One of the changes will be a shift in the wind direction.  The day will start off with a light WSW breeze but as the day passes this breeze (average 5-6mph) will move towards the NW.  This will eventually bring cooler air hence the increased cloud and humidity.

Once again the pollen count will high.

Summary.

Remaining warm with a little more cloud and getting humid.

Observations made 06:35 hours Hammerwich, Staffordshire.

Air pressure : 1016.4mb; Temperature : 17.1c; Wind : 2mph WSW;

Relative humidity : 92%; Rain last 24 hours : 0mm.
