WS7 weather report for Hammerwich, Lichfield, Burntwood, Brownhills, Bloxwich and Pelsall areas.

Weather forecast 26 July 2012.

The morning will start feeling a lot fresher that it did yesterday.  This is helped by increased cloud levels and a light ENE breeze.

As the day passes we will, like yesterday, see some bright spells and temperatures will rise to a healthy 24c and even overnight the minimum temperature will only be 14c.

There will be more cloud around today and this cloud brings around a 10% chance of rain during the late afternoon/ early evening.  In the main, however, I expect it to be a dry day across our region as any shower would be isolated.

The wind will remain light and will have an average speed of around 5mph.  The wind direction will blow initially from the ENE although it will switch towards the SE as the day passes.

Once again the pollen count remains high today.

Many of you will have noticed the activity of farmers across our region cutting and baling the hay.  Is there any better indication that the weather has been ideal for growing, is now dry but is about to change?

Observations made 06:36 hours Hammerwich, Staffordshire.
