For the first day of the Olympics the sun is currently shining down on our area, however, as you step outside there is a refreshing freshness to the air. Last night the temperature reached a low of 10.2c at 05:16 hours and this has been our coolest start to a morning for exactly seven days.
The wind will be blowing from the WSW to W for most of the day and this will bring with some cloud from time to time. The chance of any rain in our area is around 12-15% and, therefore, we should all see a dry day.
From time to time we will see some lovely bright spells but the temperature will not reach the elevated temperatures we have seen over the last few days. instead our top temperature will still be pleasant at around 18c.
The wind will be a little more breezy than of late with an average speed of around 7-8mph. Gusts will reach around 15mph.
