Quite a cloudy start to the day and conditions are unlikely to improve greatly throughout the day. It is unlikely that we will see many bright spells today.
As the day passes the chances of some rain showers increase and our area is most at risk from rain during the afternoon. The rain will not be heavy or too prolonged. There is also a high chance of some localised showers around drive time this morning.
There are a number of air pressure systems influencing our weather pattern at the moment and these systems will help form a steady breeze for much of the day. At times the breeze will reach an average speed of around 10mph and gusts could reach up to 25-28mph.
For those travelling to the V festival at Weston Park the latest weather information is:-
- Friday – Some rain particularly during the afternoon but mostly dry and, at times, breezy.
- Saturday – Risk of rain reducing mostly dry.
- Sunday – Mostly dry with some bright spells but still possibly the odd shower.
Cloudy but with some showers too.
