With many returning to work after the Bank Holiday today’s weather will turn out to be probably better than any at the weekend. What did you expect?
Firstly, the wind that got quite gusty at times yesterday will be just a little milder. Blowing from a warm SW direction our average speed will be approximately 6mph and gusts could reach around 20mph.
Temperatures will be near 20c by mid afternoon and overnight they will only reach a minimum of 13-14c. A mild night indeed.
I expect to see the day remain dry in our area (chance of rain in our area today – less than 10%) although a large band of inclement weather will work its way from the west overnight. This band of rain, that will be on the coast of Wales in the morning, will reach us sometime during mid-morning tomorrow.
For today we will see some bright spells with the cloud increasing as the day passes. A good day for getting some jobs done outside.
Bright start with cloud increasing as the day passes.
