If you like the day to be generally mild but with just a touch of cool fresh air then this is the day for you!
The wind will be bringing milder air from the SW-WSW for the majority of the day. The wind speed will around 8mph during the daylight hours with some increase to around 10mph after dark. In both cases gusts could double the average speed.
This morning we should see some brighter spells through thin or fragmented cloud but as the day passes the cloud cover will increase. There is a slight chance (around 30%) of some rain this morning but, I believe, that the risk will pass the majority of us by without any rainfall.
Our top temperature today will be around 9c and overnight, with the increased cloud, the low will be around 5c. It would be a nice day for a walk.
With the increased cloud late in the evening comes the risk of some light rain. Whilst talking of rain a system will be moving into our area tomorrow that will be bringing more generalised rainfall. The GFS model currently shows this to be more likely in the early hours and then later in the day but I will give you greater detail tomorrow.
Remaining dry and mild.
