The wind continues to blow from a generally southerly direction which means that we can expect another mild day. Our top temperature today will be around 12c and the overnight minimum will be around 8c.
Initially there will be some brighter spells but as the day passes clouds will gather from time to time. The clouds will not bring any greater than a 10% chance of light rain / drizzle. For the majority of us in our area it will remain a dry day. In fact a good day for putting out the washing for a blow.
The wind will be from the SSW moving towards the S as the day passes. The average wind speed will be around 7mph gusts could reach 20mph.
At the moment the jet stream is creating a system of low pressure out to the SW of the UK. This will bring us rain later in the week.
