Fog or mist will be our hazard this morning as we make our way to work or school. Currently some of the patches could be quite dense and so care should be taken. My instrumentation is showing that the dew point is still within 0.5c of the actual temperature and so the fog may linger during the early part of the morning.
When the fog does clear it will be a dull day with our top temperature reaching around 9c. Overnight it will become a lot cooler than of late with the low at around 4c.
Our area is currently sitting under a single system of high pressure. This means that the winds will remain light today with an average speed of around 2-3mph. The wind direction will be from the SSW to SSE. This warm wind direction is helping create the fog and mist this morning.
Despite the cloud once the mist has cleared it will be a generally dry day in all parts of our area. The chance of any rain is around 15%.
Misty start clearing later to leave a dull but generally mild day.
