A dull day

A low pressure system is moving downwards across the UK from the N.  This will, by late today / early tomorrow, bring thick clouds and some rain across our area.

This morning will be dull with just a touch of coolness to the air.  Our temperature during drive time will be around 6c .  By mid afternoon the temperature will reach a high of 8c.  With the increased cloud cover the overnight minimum temperature will only fall to around 6c.

We can expect localised drizzzle or light rain anytime from late afternoon onwards, however, the more persistent and generalised rain will not fall until late evening / overnight.

The wind will remain light throughout the day (average speed 5mph).  The wind will maintain a general S course (SE to SW).  Overnight, when the low pressure system is fully over our area the wind direction will move towards the NW.

A dull day with increasing clouds cover and rain later in the evening.

Observations made at 06:33 hours Hammerwich, Staffordshire.

Air pressure : 1016.1mb, Temperature : 5.2c, Wind : 3mph WSW, Relative humidity: 87%, Rain last 24 hours : 0.0mm.
