A low pressure system is now dominating above the UK and this will bring cloud and rain from the West. Tracking the cloud system shows that the majority of the rain will fall in parts other than our area. We are at risk, however, of seeing some light rain from late morning until evening drive time. It will not rain throughout that period that is merely “the window” of highest rain risk.
The low pressure system will bring a stronger breeze than of late. The wind will, however, still be bringing warmer air from the S. This will help lift our daytime temperature up to around 8c. Overnight the clouds will thicken and this will help the temperature rise. By tomorrow morning the temperature will be around 10c.
The wind from the S-SE will be blowing at an average speed of around 10mph although gusts could reach 20-25mph.
