After a cool night, when temperatures fell to 0.9c at 05:04 hours, we will start off the day with some ground frost. As the morning begins to warm up there is also some risk of mist. This is because we have a high humidity content, low temperature and very little breeze.
The morning will be the drier part of the day although there may be some drizzle. During the afternoon the clouds will thicken and bring some prolonged periods of rain from the S. The system of rain will stay with us for the majority of evening and throughout the night. This will bring more localised flooding.
Coupled with the rain will be an increase in wind speed. The average speed during the afternoon will be around 9mph with gusts up to 30mph. The wind will be blowing from the E.
Our daytime high and overnight low will be the same due to the thickening cloud later in the day. The temperature will be around 6c.
