The air pressure is currently falling rapidly and although it is still cool outside, with the air temperature only around 1c, it is going to warm up. The problem is that for warmth in winter we need clouds and this can also means rain.
First thing this morning we could see some mist and drizzle as we drive to work. By mid morning (around 10:00 hours) heavier rain clouds will be above our into area and these will be a feature for the remainder of the morning until the early parts of the evening. We will see some rainfall and some of the rain could be heavy. This could lead to some more localised flooding.
Our top temperature today will be around 5-6c and overnight the low will be around 4c.
At times the wind will also be quite breezy. The average wind speed today will be around 10mph with gusts up to 35mph.
Cloudy with some rain but warmer than of late.
