Today many will be making their way back to work after the christmas holidays whilst other will be out shopping for “bargains” and groceries. Both, however, will be see the likelihood of some rain on their travels.
Currently a band of rain is making its way to our area via Snowdonia. Our area seems to be catching the edge of the rain and, currently, our rainfall is generally light (0.6mm per hour). It is possible, however, that we will see some heavier showers as the day passes.
Showers are likely to remain a threat until the sunset. There will then be a “dry” period before rain again moves in overnight.
With all of the rain cloud about temperatures will remain mild. Our top temperature will be around 7c and our low around 5c.
The wind will also be light. The average speed will be around 5mph and will the day as it starts from the WSW – SW.
