A mild winter’s day.

A low pressure system is currently developing out to the SW but this will not bring us any problems, weather wise, today.  Instead we are set for a mild winter’s day.

A single high pressure system is currently sitting above our area.  This means that the winds will be light and the clouds will thin and dissipate from time to time to allow for some brighter spells to shine through.

Our top temperature will be around 7c and overnight, due to the light cloud covering, the minimum will fall to around 1c.

The wind will be predominantly from the WSW-SW and will remain light all day.  The average wind speed will be 4mph.

Looking ahead – the weekend looks set to remain dry with some brighter spells.  The mornings will be cool with temperatures around freezing but will warm up to mid single digit temperatures as the day passes.
