A pleasant day ahead.

Today will see our daytime temperatures rise again.  By mid-afternoon I expect us to see the thermometer reach 8-9c.  This is in stark contrast the temperatures this time last week when 2-3c was more of the daytime norm.

We will also see some bright and sunny spells too as the month comes to a close.  During the morning and, in particular, for this afternoon, the radar images are showing that the clouds will either clear or fragment to allow the sun to shine through.

As the day passes the cloud cover will re-form and overnight we will have a cloud blanket.  This will help maintain some of the residual heat and our overnight temperature low will be around 1c.

The winds will also be light today.  Starting off from the NNW – N and then blowing from the NE the average wind speed will be around 4-5mph.
