Sunshine greets the Bank Holiday.

This morning we are greeted by bright sunshine!  This sunshine belies the fact that the temperature at the time of writing is only around 1c but, even so, it is a pleasant sight to see.

We will see more bright spells too as the day passes.  A low pressure system is now pushing away the high pressure system that has for so long dominated over our area.  Eventually this low pressure system will bring more cloud but, for today at least, we will see spells of thinner cloud and sunshine.

Our top temperature will reach a souring 4-5c but overnight with no cloud cover the minimum temperature will reach a minimum of around -3c.

The wind will be light and from the ENE.  The average wind speed will be around 5-6mph.

It will remain a dry day with the chance of any precipitation less than 10%.  The relative humidity reading of 69% tells us that there is very little moisture in the air.

A great day for enjoying the great outdoors – so long as you wrap up warm!
