The air pressure reading, at the time of making my observations, is nearly 1024mb and the relative humidity (the amount of moisture in the air) is low at 70%. These two readings suggest that we are set for another fine day.
The radar images confirm these early thoughts with only small amounts of cloud entering our region today. The risk of any rain today is low at around 5-6%. During the day we will see plenty of bright spells.
Our top temperature today will be around 15c and overnight the low will reach a low of around 5c. (Do you remember back in March when we longed for a daytime high of 5c?)
Winds, due to the single high pressure system, will be very light with an average speed of around 3mph. The wind this morning will be from the NW although we can expect a shift as the day passes towards the SW.
Today is a good day for a trip out or working outside.
A generally dry and bright day.
