Bank Holiday sunshine.

Firstly, can I thank you for the many messages of good wishes I received yesterday.  I am well enough to get out of bed today and, hopefully, on the mend.

The weather today is so unusual for a bank Holiday but we will see plenty of sunshine.  There will be some cloud from time to time but it will only be thin and will not detract from a gloriously bright day.  Our top temperature will be around 19c and low overnight will be around 8-9c.

The wind will bring warm air from the SW-SSW and will be light.  The average wind speed will be around 3-5mph.

Today is great day for getting outside and enjoying the better part of the week.  As Tuesday passes we will see the jet stream position move and this will bring inclement weather to our area.

Observations made at 08:00 hours Hammerwich, Staffordshire.

Air pressure : 1020.3mb, Temperature : 11c, Wind : 1mph SW, Relative humidity : 74%, Rain since 00:01 hours : 0mm,  Rain this month : 0.2mm, Rain this year : 124.8mm
