Today we are still in the midst of a complex low pressure system and this means that we will see the continuation of the moderate to fresh SW breeze and occasional rain showers. The wind will be blowing at an average speed of around 10mph with gusts of around 25mph.
The radar images are showing some rain cloud heading our way this morning and will be with us between 07:00 and 10:00 hours. I am not saying that it will rain throughout this time period only that is when the risk of rain is greater than 75%. We can, however, say with some certainty is that we will see rain during the day. The biggest risk of rain is later in the afternoon / early evening when a large band of rain will move across the UK.
Our top temperature will be around 13-14c and overnight the low will be around 5c. The strong breeze today will add a wind chill effect of around 2-3c i.e. makes it feel more like a maximum of 11c.
Some bright spells but cloud increasing bringing rain showers.
