Cup final day weather.

Our area is still being dominated by the low pressure system that has been with us for the last couple of days.  This means that we are set to see another mix of weather including some bright spells, wind and rain.

The rain radar is showing that bands of rain cloud are heading our way from the W at the moment and will be over our area around 11:00 hours.  We can, however, expect showers at any time during the day but particularly during the afternoon.

The breeze will remain brisk with an average speed of around 10mph.  The wind will be blowing from the SW-W.  Some gusts could reach speeds of up to 30mph.

Our top temperature will be around 10-11c today and overnight the thermometer will reach a low of around 5c

If you are going out today be prepared for meting all facets of the weather.  If you want to avoid getting wet do your outside jobs first thing this morning.
