The jet stream will be running down the UK from NW and this will bring with it more cloud and the possibility of some rain showers.
The radar images are currently showing that there are a large number of rain cloud systems heading our way from the Colwyn Bay area during the morning, however, the majority of these should simply blow by with maybe the odd localised light shower .
By later in the afternoon there will be a large system moving into our area and this will bring with it around a 85% chance of rain in our area. The rain could stay with us, off and on for a few hours, so it will not be a good night to plan cutting the lawn.
The extra cloud today will reduce our top temperature a little, however, the further east you travel the warmer the day will be. In our area we can expect a top temperature of around 16c-17c. Overnight the low will be around 13c. Last night’s minimum temperature was 9.8c at 04:28 hours). The top temperature yesterday was 21.1c and the average temperature throughout the day was 15.2c.
The wind will start off , like yesterday, from the SW but will soon move towards the W-WNW. The average wind speed will be 6mph.
Generally dry but cloudy morning. The chance of rain increasing during the afternoon.
