Last day of June weather.

A warm but breezy day is ahead of us today.  With the extra heat and the wind we can also expect the pollen count to be high.

By mid afternoon we can expect the temperature to reach around 22c.  This will not be the warmest day of the month as that accolade went to the 19th we reached a top temperature of 25.3c.  Overnight the low will be around 12c.

There will be a general cloud cover for the majority of the day although this will fragment from time to time to allow some bright spells to break through.  Despite the cloud cover in our area the risk of rain is less than 15%.

The wind will be brisk with an average speed of around 8-9mph with gusts reaching up to 25mph.  The wind direction will be predominantly from the SW-WSW.

If you are out travelling today then the further you head towards the NW the more likely you are to encounter some rain.
