Today will start off cloudy and cloud cover will remain with us for a large proportion of the day by varying amounts. Whilst there is a slight (around 10%) chance of some light drizzle this morning I expect the day to remain dry. We will also see some bright spells too when the cloud thins or fragments.
It will be another good day for getting jobs outside done or for a ride or walk out as the maximum temperature will be much more moderate. Our top temperature today will be around 23c. Overnight the air temperature will still remain mild and the minimum temperature will be around 14c.
There will be a ENE-E breeze blowing for much of the day and this will be bringing cooler air with it. The average wind speed will be around 6mph.
A feature of the day is the high relative humidity. At the time of observations the relative humidity was 86% and this means it will feel very humid.
Looking ahead to tomorrow the pressure charts are showing a cold front developing out to the W. This will be impact on our area by mid to late afternoon tomorrow. When the cold front clashes with the warm high pressure system we can expect some rain and possibly thunder and lightning.
Cloudy start and humid. Bright spells particularly later in the day.
