This morning there is plenty of mist lying around our area and in some parts this may even be dense enough to be classed as fog. The relative humidity is very high (currently at 92%) and, therefore, it will be a damp and humid start.
It will eventually be a warm day with temperatures climbing up to a maximum of around 26c and we will see some bright spells too. As the afternoon passes a cold front from the west will begin to impact upon our area and the risk of rain increases from around 15:00 hours (largest risk around 18:00 hours). It is also possible due to the heat that we could see the rain accompanied by some thunder storms too. Overnight we can expect some further rain and a minimum temperature around 17-18c. It would not be too surprising if we saw in excess of 6mm of rain by tomorrow morning.
The wind this morning is blowing from the ENE, however, as the day passes we can expect the wind direction to come the ESE. This will bring a warmer feel from the breeze than the wind from the ENE. The average wind speed today will be around 3-5mph.
Misty and humid start. Brighter and warm later with the risk of rain.
