At the moment a low pressure is sitting out to the west of the UK and this has delivered some inclement weather to our area over the last few days. For today, however, the system will not adversely affect us today.
Whilst we will not see the blistering heat of last week we will still see a pleasant top temperature of around 24c and overnight the low will be around 15-16c. There will still be a general covering of cloud for much of the day but this will not prevent the sun shining through and bringing us some bright spells. As the day passes we can expect to see the clouds thin.
It will remain a dry day with only a 10% chance of rain in our area today. Any rain that did fall would be localised and short lived.
The wind today will be light and arriving from the WSW. The average wind speed will be around 3-4 mph.
Looking ahead the better of the days over the weekend looks like it is Saturday. Sunday could see some more showers arriving.
Some cloud but generally warm and bright.
