Misty morning.

When you open the curtains this morning you will see that our area is covered with patches of mist.  The good news is that this mist will not last long as the sun will soon burn it away.

By mid morning we will be seeing some bright and sunny spells.  The sunny spells will help to lift our top temperature up to around 22c.  Overnight the clouds cover will also be light or non existent.  This is good news for our astronomers who should be able to make some observations.  The minimum temperature overnight will be around 12-13c.

During the mid afternoon the cloud cover will increase and this will bring a 35% risk of a light shower.  This risk  is created by a band of rain carrying cloud that is working its way down the country from the N.  The risk of a rain shower will last from around 14:30 to around 18:00 hours.

The wind will be light for the whole day.  The average wind speed will be around 5-6mph and the wind will derive from the N-NW.

Misty start but brightening later.

Observations made 06:36 hours Hammerwich, Staffordshire.
Air pressure : 1019.2mb, Temperature : 12.8c, Wind : 2mph N, Relative humidity : 89%, Rain since 00:01 hours : 0.0 mm, Rain this month : 51.2mm, Rain this year : 363.6mm.
