A bright start greets the day and with the daylight hours getting shorter it is nice to make use of every sunlit hour.. The sun is taking longer to rise now and is certainly going to “bed” earlier. The official sunset time for our area tonight is 19:59 hours.
The sun will continue to break through and brighten our patch but we will see some cloud cover today. A low pressure system is building to the N of us and this is help develop more cloud in our area.
The good news is that we can expect another dry day. The risk of rain today is 8% The top temperature will rise to around 22-23c but overnight we can expect the thermometer to see a minimum of around 10c after the clouds thin and clear.
Winds will be from the SW-WSW for the majority of the daylight hours and the average wind speed will be around 7mph. As the day passes into evening we will see the wind direction edge towards W and eventually, overnight, we will feel the wind bringing colder air from the NW.
Some cloud but still bright and warm.
