A pleasant end to the month

A new weekend, the end of the month but still some nice weather to see us through the day.  It is certainly a day to get out and about but it will not be quite as warm as recent.

Cool winds, due to the jet stream position, are pushing into our area from the NW and this will reduce our top temperature to around 16-17c.  Overnight the clouds will be thin and this will allow our minimum temperature to reach around 9c.  last night’s minimum temperature was 9.4c at 06:24 hours.

We will see plenty of bright spells through thin or fragmented cloud as the day passes and this will make it, overall, a pleasant day.  It will be particularly good if you are working outside as you will not be getting too warm from the sun.

You will note from my observations below that the air pressure is high and the relative humidity is well below 80%.  This indicates that, despite the cloud, we will receive another dry day.  The chance of any rain in our area is less than 6%.

The wind will eventually blow from the NW-WNW and will have an average speed of around 6mph.

Some cloud but a dry and pleasant day despite lower temperatures than of late.

Observations made 08:22 hours Hammerwich, Staffordshire.
Air pressure : 1024.9mb, Temperature : 11.7c, Wind : 3 mph WSW, Relative humidity : 75%, Rain since 00:01 hours : 0.0 mm, Rain this month : 51.2mm, Rain this year : 363.6mm.
