Overcast start to the day.

As I write this blog the sky is very heavy and the radar images show me that there is some rain cloud moving through our area.  This cloud will bring a 60% chance of some light rain this morning up to around 10:30 hours.

As the day passes we will, however, see some brighter spells breaking through a fragmenting cloud base.  This will allow our top temperature to rise to around 13-14c.  Overnight the minimum temperature will reach a low of around 8c.

Overnight heavy rain cloud will make its way into our area and should be with us by around 09:30.  This rain will start of light but the radar images are currently suggesting that we will see some heavier rainfall during the early to mid afternoon period.

The wind have an average speed of around 5-6mph this morning although it will increase a little to around 10mph later in the day.  The wind will start of from the SW but I expect to see a small shift towards the WNW as the day passes.

Summary

A risk of rain first thing then brightening as the day passes.
