As I mentioned in yesterday’s report a band of rain is moving across the UK today from W to E. This will bring a high risk of rain to all parts of our area during the morning. The radar images are showing a risk of rain from 06:30 hours until around 14:00 hours. It will not rain continuously during this time frame but the risk is above 90% of some rain today.
The top temperature will be around 14-15c and overnight the low will reach a minimum of 8c. As the day passes into mid afternoon the clouds will begin to break up and we will even see some brighter spells.
The wind today will be blowing from the SW-SSW so at least there will be very little wind chill factor to considered. The average wind speed today will be around 8mph.
