Air pressure rising

After yesterday’s miserable drizzle and rain today (and over the weekend) will see higher air pressure in position over our area and whilst we may still see some cloud cover the risk from rain is reduced.

Today will see us have some variable cloud cover which will also allow us to see some brighter spells.  Our top temperature will reach a very pleasant 16-17c.  Overnight the cloud will thicken from the W and the minimum temperature will around 9c.

There is only a very low risk of rain today (around 5%) so if you want to leave your washing out or cut the lawn then you should be able to do this in without too much danger of having to change your plan.

Due to a simple air pressure system in our area the winds will be light and will start off the day from the WSW before moving towards a more W direction.  The average wind speed will be around 5mph.

A dry day with some brighter spells.
