Summer lingers on

If you plan to work outside, put out the washing or go to work or school on your bike then you can do so without fear of any rain.  Today, high air pressure still dominates our area and this means that we will see some cloud that will eventually thin to leave us with a bright and warm day.

Our top temperature today will be around 23c and overnight the minimum will be similar to last night’s 12.7c.  (12.7c at 01:20 hours).  There is some rain out to the SW of the UK but the high pressure system is forcing it away from us at moment and the chance of any rain falling in our area today is less than 5%.

The wind will be no more than a gentle breeze throughout the day.  The average speed will be around 3mph and the wind will be deriving from the warm S-SSE.
