Misty morn

After two days of rain today will be something of a respite.  The radar images are showing some light rain clouds heading our way around 08:00 hours but these will probable blow by or just bring us a little drizzle.  Once we get to mid morning the risk of any further rain during the day will be around 20%.

The day will start off with some mist in places but this will soon burn away as the day warms up.  There will be plenty of cloud around but we will also see the odd brighter spell or two.  Our top temperature will be around 12c.  Overnight the minimum temperature will be 7c.  (Last night’s minimum temperature was 6.4c at 05:47 hours).

The wind will be start off from the WSW but as the day passes it will travel clockwise towards the NW and will end the day deriving from the NE.  The average wind speed will be around 6mph.

The GFS charts are showing a large band of heavy rain heading towards the UK from the SW tomorrow.  If the rain band continues its course it would reach our area by early / mid morning tomorrow.
