Yesterday’s rain, when 7mm fell in our area during the day, left underneath the railway bridge in Hall lane flooded once again. Today will provide some chance for the area to dry up a little although there is still a 40% chance of seeing some light rain today.
The cloud cover will be a lot lighter today and this will allow for some brighter spells to break through. This thinner and fragmented cloud will allow our top temperature to rise to around 15c and overnight the low will be around 9c.
The radar images are currently showing a small amount of rain cloud heading our way around 07:00 hours and then later in the day around lunchtime. There is, however, a very good chance that the majority of this rain threat will simply blow by.
The wind will be a lot lighter today and will be bringing warmer air from the WSW. The average wind speed today will be around 3-4mph.
