A change ahead.

There is a little dampness in the air this morning and some light rain fell overnight.  This small rainfall didn’t really make any significant impact on the monthly rainfall total (less than 0.5mm).  We are, however, likely to see one or two showers as the day passes.  The radar images are showing rain carrying clouds passing through our area first thing this morning, around lunchtime and then again later this evening from around 16:00 hours.  Many of the clouds will simply blow by but we do still have a 60% risk of further rain today.

Our top temperature today will reach around 11c and overnight the minimum will be around 7c.  Last night’s minimum temperature was 7.8c at 05:49 hours).

The wind will be generally deriving from the SW and the average speed will be around 6mph.

Tomorrow sees more significant rainfall entering the UK from the N and I would expect us to see this reach our area after lunch.

Generally cloudy with the risk of some light rain.
