High air pressure continues to sit above our region, the dew point is within a degree of the actual air temperature and the relative humidity is around 90%. All of this combines to bring us a misty start to the day.
With the mist comes the chance of some slight misty drizzle (“mizzle”) during the morning and possibly into the afternoon. It is, however, unlikely that we will see any real accumulation of rainfall today.
The cloud cover will remain with us throughout the day and this will restrict our top temperature to around 9c. Overnight the minimum temperature will be around 4c.
The wind will remain light with an average speed of around 3-4 mph . The wind derive from the WSW.
Tomorrow a band of rain will move across the UK and will reach our area sometime during the mid morning. I will be able to give more exact details on this in my next post.
Cloudy with some mist.
