Tonight sees the Christmas light’s switched on in Lichfield by the cast of the local pantomime led by Joanne Malin. If you are thinking of attending the 5pm switch on then you will need to wrap up warm but the good news is that you will not need your umbrella.
Once again our area is sitting under a system of high pressure and the jet stream is riding high above the UK. This means that, once again, we are set for another dry but cool day.
Our top temperature today will be around 6c and overnight the minimum will be around 0c. By morning we will possibly see areas of fog and mist formed.
The wind will be bringing in cold air from the NNW, however, the average wind speed will only be around 3mph. This will not add much wind chill effect to the “feel” of the air temperature.
It will be generally a cloudy day with just the odd brighter spell. These brighter spells are most likely during the afternoon period.
A cool but dry day.
