It would be hard not to notice how mild the air temperature feels this morning. There is certainly no need for de-icer and scrapers to get the day started today!
The jet stream is currently riding around the UK and this is bringing in milder air but slightly more breeze than we have encountered over recent days.
Our top temperature today will be around 10c and overnight the minimum temperature will reach around 5-6c. Another very mild night ahead.
The wind will be blowing from the NW and the average speed will be around 6mph with gusts up to around 12mph. This wind will reduce the feel of the air temperature by around 1c.
We will see very few brighter spells today as the cloud cover will remain with us for the majority of the day. Whilst we have had some light ran overnight it is unlikely that we will see anything other than the odd spot very light of localised rain / drizzle today.
Very mild, cloudy and a little more breeze than of late. Remaining dry.
