A day at the shops?

I suspect that today will be a busy day in the city but the good news is that all those “happy shoppers” will be able to go about their business in dry and relatively mild weather.

High air pressure continues to sit above our area and this will also help bring some thin cloud and a little sunshine during the day.  Our top temperature will be around 6c whilst overnight the minimum will only reduce a degree or so to around 4-5c.

The wind will be light and generally from the WNW direction.  This does mean that the breeze will have a little bit of a chill to it but the average wind speed will only be around 5mph.

The good news is that the radar images are showing very little risk in terms of rain for today.  I know that some of you will be planning a day in the garden so you should be able to enjoy a full day’s work.  The risk of any rain today is around 9%.
