In contrast to yesterday.

In contrast to yesterday’s very mild 12c during the early morning period today welcomes us on our journey to work with a cooler 3-4c.  The good news, however, is that our trip will be accompanied with some brighter spells during the morning.

As the day passes the cloud cover will increase and this will help limit our top temperature to around 5c.  Overnight will remain on the positive side, temperature wise, with the overnight low reaching around 3c.

The radar images are showing that today will be a dry day with a less than 10% chance of any rain in our area today.  The cloud cover will increase in density throughout the night and is likely to bring some showers during tomorrow morning.

Also in contrast to yesterday will be the wind speed.  After a gusty start to the day yesterday today’s breeze will be more of a steady “whisper”.  The average wind speed will be around 4-5mph with the wind deriving from the SW.

A mild and, at times, bright day.  Cloud gathering later.
