A brighter day

After yesterday’s generally blustery day today will seem like a much calmer affair.  In fact we will even see some bright spells through the day.

The radar images are showing some rain carrying cloud although the chances of any rain in our area is around 34%.  Any shower we do see will be localised and short-lived.  For the majority of the day the cloud cover will be light and this will allow for some brighter spells.  Couple this with the lighter breeze and it will seem, at times, a relatively pleasant day for the time of year.

Our top temperature during the day will be around 5c but with the breeze this will feel more like 2c.  Overnight the cloud cover will initially gather but then, as the hours pass, the cloud cover will thin again which will allow the minimum temperature to reach around 1c.

The breeze will have an average speed of around 8mph and gusts will reach around 16mph.  The wind will be deriving from the SW.

The radar images are suggesting that rain will be heading our way again during Monday morning and late evening.
