The radar images are clearly showing another band of rain moving across the UK from W to E. Currently (08:00 hours) the rain if falling in the Newtown / Welshpool area and will reach us by around 09:45 – 10:00 hours. It will be light and localised at first and then by around 11:00 hours the rain will become more generalised and a little heavier.
The rain will clear our area by late lunchtime and then we will be left will a generally clear and dry remainder of the day. There is a 35% chance of some localised rain later in the evening but, for the majority, it will remain dry.
