The radar images are showing that only light rain clouds are heading our way this morning. Whilst we may see some light localised showers on the journey to work or school the risk is only around 45%.
The remainder of the morning will some variable cloud and even some brighter spells. These brighter spells will help lift our top temperature up to around 8c. As the afternoon passes and throughout the evening the cloud will thicken. We will eventually see more persistent rain reach our area by tomorrow morning. The overnight minimum temperature will be around 4c.
The wind will be deriving from the SW-SSW and will be a little stronger than the last couple of day. The average wind speed will be around 10mph.
Looking ahead at the weekend. Saturday appears to be a wet day but Sunday sees some brighter spells.
