Brolly needed?

The radar images are currently (06:30 hours) showing some patchy rain cloud moving across our region until around 10:0 hours.  These clouds bring an 80% risk of some light localised rain in our region during the morning journey to work or school.

By tomorrow morning we can expect see some more generalised rain across our region and some of this rain could be moderate to heavy.

For the remainder of our day today we will see some fragmented cloud allowing the odd brighter spell to break through.  These brighter spells will help lift our top temperature up to around 6c.  Overnight the minimum temperature will reach around 2c.

The wind will be a little stronger today than over the last couple of days and it will have a cool “edge” to it by the afternoon.  The average wind speed will be around 7mph this morning increasing to 12mph (with some gusts around 25mph) by mid afternoon.  The wind will be blowing from the SW this morning with a slight shift clockwise towards the WNW by mid afternoon.
