Best day of the week.

Today will be a generally mild day and the thermometer is likely to hit double figures at around 10-11c.  Even overnight when the cloud  thickness increases the minimum temperature will only be around 8c.

We will see some sunny spells, however, I do have to temper all of the good news with the fact that there are some very light rain clouds passing through our area throughout the day.  These clouds bring around a 30% risk of rain during daylight hours.

As the day passes the cloud will thicken and the wind speed will increase slightly.  During the daylight hours the average wind speed will be around 6mph and the wind will be deriving from the SW.  After dark we will see a gradual increase In the wind speed to around 10-12mph.

From 20:00 hours the risk of more persistent light rain exists and this risk will remain until morning.  The chance of rain after dark and by tomorrow morning is around 90%.
