Yet another low pressure system.

The radar images are currently showing a band of light rain moving across the UK and this system will reach our area around 08:00 hours.  The risk of rain from 08:00 to 10:00 hours is around 85%.  Any rain that does fall during that period will be light.

The air pressure charts are also showing that another low pressure system will be moving into our area later in the afternoon.  This will help maintain increased wind speeds and will bring more rain either late tonight or in the early hours of tomorrow morning.

There is some good news, however, in that the cloud cover will break a little during the afternoon to allow the odd brighter spell and the temperature to rise to around 10c.  Overnight the minimum temperature will be around 5c.

The wind will be deriving from the S-SW and the average wind speed today will be around 9mph. Gusts could reach around 20-25mph.

Summary.

Risk of early showers then a partly cloudy but breezy day.
