At the time of my observations the air pressure, whilst low, was holding a steady position. The isobar charts are showing a tightly packed system moving across the UK which could lead to some breezy and showery spells but, generally, it will be a dry day.
The radar images are showing a small system of rain clouds passing through the northern tip of our area around 08:45-10:00 hours and this will bring a 45% risk of a light rain shower. Later in late part of the afternoon (around 16:00) we will see some further low risk of rain. Overall it will be partly cloudy and, therefore, bright during the morning and early part of the afternoon. The cloud will increase as the afternoon passes and into the evening. Late tonight a final low risk of rain will be present.
At times it will be breezy with the wind deriving from the S-SW. The average wind speed will be around 10mph with gusts of around 22-25mph.
Our top temperature today will be around 8-9c and overnight the minimum temperature will be around 4c.
