Bright and breezy.

Today starts off very bright and breezy with the WNW wind reaching gust speeds of around 25mph. The average wind speed will be around 10mph. This increase in wind speed over the last few days is caused by the jet stream moving down the north-east edge of the UK and creating additional planes of air pressure.

During he morning we will see plenty of sunshine and whilst the afternoon will see a slight increase in the amount of cloud cover the day will remain dry.  Our top temperature today will be around 15c, however, with the breeze this will feel more like 12c.

Overnight the temperature will remain mild with a low of around 7c.

The wind will reduce in speed as the day passes ending the day with an average speed of around 6mph.

Another great light day for photography and with the drying wind and mild overnight temperatures a chance to cut the lawn.
