After the rain that predominantly fell yesterday afternoon today will follow a similar pattern.
This morning will start off cool with temperatures of around 3c at the time of observation (approximately 07:00 hours). With a SW breeze of around 7mph blowing the “feel” of the temperature will be more like 1c.
During the morning we will see some odd bright spells but after lunch until around 15:30 hours there is around a 70% chance of localised rain showers. Later in the evening (23:00 hour) further, more dense, rain clouds move into our area and the risk of rain increases to around 95%.
Once the rain has cleared in the early hours it will become clearer and cool. We can expect to see the minimum thermometer reading to be around 3c.
The wind will be brisk at times but particularly during the afternoon. The average wind speed will be around 7mph but we can expect gusts up to 25mph.
